CONA’s
32nd conference committee invites you to join
them in the “Sunny Okanagan”, Kelowna, B.C. to present
either an oral or poster presentation. Submissions should be
relevant to orthopaedic issues for nurses and may include,
but are not limited to, practice, education and research.
Guidelines for Abstract :
-
250 words or less in English
-
Indicate if submission is for poster or oral presentation
-
Presentation should be no more than 45 minutes in length
-
Indicate type of AV equipment required and type of program used
-
1 copy with authors, credentials, and contacts
-
3 copies without author's name
Only submission received by November 15, 2008 will be
considered.

of the Canadian Orthopaedic Nurses
The Canadian Orthopaedic Nurses Association
believes that nurses who provide care to individuals with
neuromuscular and skeletal disorders require a specific body of
knowledge and skills to deliver the highest standard of care.
We believe that this knowledge is
acquired, maintained and advanced through basic knowledge, continuing
education, practice and research.

L'Association
canadienne des infirmières et infirmiers en orthopédie estime que
les infirmières et infirmiers qui dispensent des soins à des
personnes atteintes des troubles neuromusculaires et squelettiques ont
besoin d'un bagage particulier de connaissances et de compétences
pour assurer des soins de la plus haute qualité. Nous sommes d'avis
que ces connaissances sont acquises, maintenues et perfectionnées
grâce aux connaissances de base, à la formation continue, à
l'exercice de la profession et à la recherche.
